3127 Creve Coeur Mill Road Maryland Heights, MO 63146 TEL: 314-434-3368 FAX: 314-878-6453 The HISTORIC AIRCRAFT RESTORATION MUSEUM is a non-profit organization located at Creve Coeur Airport (1H0). The museum has on display one of the largest collections of flying antique, classic and sport aircraft in the country. COME VISIT THE MUSEUM The museum conducts guided tours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Central), Saturdays, Sundays, or by appointment during the week. There are usually 30 to 40 aircraft hangared in the three main museum buildings, with at least that many scattered throughout the airport. MUSEUM ADMISSION $10.00 per adult Children 5 - 12 years old are $5.00. Children under 5 years old are free when accompanied by an adult. Group rates are available. Tours by Al Stix, the Museum Director, may be scheduled in advance. The tours take approximately 1 hour. FEATURED AIRCRAFT Some of the aircraft featured in the museum are an original "Cub", the "Timm Collegiate" flown by Charles Lindbergh, and the first "Curtiss Air Sedan", which was made right here in St. Louis. It is not uncommon to see a vintage car or motorcycle in the museum as well. MUSEUM GIFT SHOP The Museum Gift Shop , located in the airport terminal and on-line, has an assortment of exclusive Tee-shirts imprinted with the logos of various aircraft, both past and present. Museum Annual Memberships and Gift Certificates are also available. A small collection of unusual aviation books can also be found in the terminal gift shop. Open cockpit rides in a Boeing Stearman or other biplanes are $80.00. Rides in an North American SNJ are $110.00. These flights can be arranged by calling the museum.
